Keeping an eye on your "email-credits" is important if you use Snafflz to send emails such as e-invitations. Each email counts for 1 email-credit.

Once you have signed up you are the main user who owns all permissions. It is possible to add several team members to your main account. The number of contributors you are allowed to add depends on your pricing plan.

If a guest brings people who are not registered for the event you can easily add them as anonymous companions of the main guest. It is possible to edit the guest's companion details (name, company etc) and check them in separately.
Pre-registered guests are displayed on your guest list, indicating to whom they belong. They can be checked-in like main guests.
Snafflz is a cloud-based web service. In order to save and sync your data you need to have internet/Wi-Fi connectivity. All the computers and devices you use at the event and all of their data are synced automatically in real-time. If you use the Snafflz web app on laptop or desktop, just refresh the browser for updated info.
Yes. If the network connection is suddenly interrupted, the Snafflz mobile app switches to offline mode until the signal comes back on. In this mode, the app is still fully functional but the devices will not sync until the network signal comes back. All guest data is stored locally on your devices.
Note: It is important that a) your devices go online at some point to retrieve data and that b) your devices go online in order to sync up the latest changes with the cloud.
Yes. Uploaded images can be displayed as logo and screen image on the mobile app.
Just click on the "Import" button on the top right in the "Guest List View" on your web app.
To upload names from an Excel spreadsheet just select "Bulk Uploader" and have your names on the Snafflz guest list. For a smooth upload please use the Snafflz template only.
Lots of attendee information can be added to the Excel upload template:
• First name and surname
• Guests +1's (companions) and possibility to link the companion with a main guest
• Job title
• Email address
• Custom field 1 (custom info text or checkbox)
• Custom field 2 (custom info text or checkbox)

• Notes (fill in any text)

After you have uploaded the template you can add even more information in the guest profiles.
To set your own fields just click on "Data Fields" on the right top of your guest list screen in the Snafflz web app or tap "Custom Fields" in the sidebar menu of the iOS app.
You do not need an iPad or iPhone to check-in guests. If you are online just use the Snafflz web service in your browser. It is a professional cloud-based web app running online.
There are 3 ways to generate QR codes:
• Create a custom event registration page. Registrants receive their QR code in the email confirming their registration.
• Print QR name tags through the Snafflz web app.
• Send out QR codes individually via the 'Send invitations' email feature.
Fill in the column 'QR-/Barcode' in the Snafflz Excel template. Upload it via the "Bulk Uploader" in the "Import" menu.
To create your own QR codes:
1. Go to http://www.qrstuff.com
2. Check plain text as data type and encoding as static
3. Fill in a text and/or a number and generate the code
Tick the checkbox "VIP email notifications" in the "Guest List View" in the web app. Snafflz sends an email to the user's email address to inform about a VIP's arrival. It is not possible to send a VIP arrival alert email to other email addresses besides the above mentioned user email address.
Only available for subscribers and Pro 1500 users.
Switch on the VIP notification functionality in your Snafflz mobile app. You find the switch in the sidebar menu.
You can enable VIP arrival alerts for each iPhone/iPad used. Snafflz automatically sends a push notification as soon as a marked VIP has been checked-in via Snafflz. Each user can disable and enable the notifications anytime. There are no limits regarding the number of devices used or notifications sent.
It is not possible to send VIP arrival notifications through SMS.
Only available for subscribers and Pro 1500 users.
Press "Download CSV" or "Print" in the "Guest List View" of the Snafflz web app. The CSV file includes all guest data: name, company, email address, check-in data, the info gathered via your custom data fields, VIP attribute, etc.
The data grids you see on screen are the ones that will be printed. In the "Data Fields" window you can set which data fields should be visible.
The master list (control list) is our contacts database feature. It's your pool of guest data. Each person in the master list counts as a contact.
No. The master list is not a guestlist. Hence it is not possible to check contacts on it. A check-in is always connected to an event guestlist.
You can filter the master list, add & import & delete individual contacts or export it just like your guestlists.
You can select and copy names to an existing guestlist or create a new guestlist with the names.
Yes. The contact details window shows statistics of all the events the contact has been checked in as a guest.
The system offers insightful attendee analytics and live reports such as number of checked-in guests, no shows, VIPs, invitations, check-in time stamp, average time of arrival, concessions, etc.
The Snafflz web app provides a convenient interface to create and customize your registration page.
Press "Create new registration page". This opens up a new registration view with some of the fields already filled out for you.
One of the most important things about event registrations is the deadline. Once the deadline is reached the event registration page is closed for further registrations. After the deadline the Snafflz system automatically feeds the successful registrants (hence an allowed number of guests) into your event guest list.
In order not to exceed your final guestlist's size go to the "Registrations" tab in your Snafflz web app and set the field "No. of RSVPs (including guests)" to the desired amount.
This still permits an unlimited number of RSVPs coming in in order to capture as much data as possible during the registration period. However, when the registration deadline is reached only the allowed number of names will be automatically added to your guest list. This works on a first-come-first-served basis (eg. for 100 available spots, only the first 100 names registered will be added to your guest list, receiving a final confirmation email).
Snafflz has also collected the rest of the RSVPs which did not make it onto the guest list. These names are available by "Download RSVPs". Of course you can manually amend your guest list any time.
Click the "Choose Questions" button to customize the registration form. In the popup window you can select the fields visible on your registration page. You can also set which ones should be mandatory. If you would like to collect the same information from a guest's companion tick "Enable questions for companions".
If you tick "Set registration private" in the "Registrations" tab and set a password, the registration page will require the user to enter this password on the registration page. This way you can ensure only the right people register for your event.
The default sender email address is the email address of the user who created the event. If you would like to change it just fill the new email address in the field "Change sender email" in the "Registrations" tab and click "Verify". For security reasons a verification email is sent to this new email address. Follow the instructions to complete the process.
When a person registers for your event Snafflz will send out an automatic confirmation email to this person. This email confirms the successful registration but is not the final confirmation ensuring access to the event.
For Pro 1500 and subscription plan customers, this confirmation email can be disabled.
Click the "Move off list" buttons in the "Registration" tab in the Snafflz web app. Blocked RSVPs are not on the guest list but can be downloaded. This feature is only available while the registration is running.
You can upload JPG, GIF or PNG files. If the image is larger than 600 x 900 pixels, it will be resized and converted. File size limit is 1 MB. If your upload does not work, try a smaller picture.
The image will be displayed on the top left of the registration page.
Before publishing your registration page you can preview the design and functionality of the page by clicking the "Preview" button.
If you are satisfied with your registration page you can publish it by clicking "Create registration page". If you wish to do some changes after, just update the settings in the "Registrations" tab and click "Save".
The Snafflz e-invitation feature provides the easiest way to invite your guests and have their RSVPs synced in the guest list. It goes with all the info you need to share about the event (name, date, time, venue, image) and allow guests to reply within the invitation. All confirmations go straight to the guest list, so it is always updated.
Press the "Invitations" button in the "Guest List View" in the Snafflz web app to send a custom e-invitation to your guests.
The email recipients can 'RSVP' or 'Decline' directly in the email. The current state of the invitations is shown in the invitation status in the "Guest List View", in the "Guest Details View" and in the "Invitations" tab on the tablet.
Yes. It is possible to use our default email invitation template and customize the design of the message body easily with our rich text editor. You are able to insert many variables (e.g. the QR code, any guest data field, ...), upload an image, add HTML code if you already have your own templates and much more.
Snafflz allows you to create and publish a landing page that can be linked to your e-invitations. The RSVP button in the email links to that landing page and guests can enter additional information (i.e. companions). All information added by them is reflected in the guestlist instantly.
A landing page is a registration page. If the user clicks on the RSVP button, he will be redirected to the page. The name and email data of your guests are already pre-filled in the registration form. Any other information you would like to add can be set in the "choose questions" window of the "Registrations" tab.
Only you own your data. Once you delete an event or name, all relevant data is deleted from our system. We guarantee the highest privacy standards, including SSL data encryption (the same as used for electronic banking).
Your data is fully protected and secured by your password. Only the main user or an invited contributor with the right login credentials can view or read data.

Yes, Snafflz offers various authorization levels for different access rights. These rights apply for the Snafflz online service and tablet/mobile app alike.
Snafflz has designed three levels of access so you can assign roles that match different needs.
"Administrator": has access to all events. Cannot create/edit/delete events, invite team members, edit account information.
"Collaborator": can only view the shared event. Cannot see master list.
"Door manager": cannot see master list, add and delete guests, see/add/edit registration pages and registrations. Has full editing rights for names on the mobile guest list to enable smooth check-in.
Once an administrator is removed s/he has no access to any of your data in Snafflz any more.
The number of allowed contributors is shown in your pricing plan.

Subcription plans do not expire until the recurring payment profile gets cancelled. After cancellation you can use Snafflz until the subscription period ends.
You can cancel your recurring payment profile anytime. The minimum subscription period is 1 month for the "Premium 300" plan and 3 months for the "Premium 600" plan and 1 year for the "Diamond" plan.
Please go to PayPal and cancel your recurring payment profile. You will receive an email confirmation by PayPal and you will not get charged again.
Your data will not get lost. Snafflz generates automatic backups of your data.
